Writing is power! MS Writing Power is an online class for rising 7th and 8th graders who would like to build their writing skills and fluidity. The class runs from June 20th through July 15th. We will reinforce basic skills, work on drafting and revision, and prepare for next year’s writing challenges. Each week, new lessons and assignments will be posted online, and you will work through the writing process using Google Docs. You will also “meet” with your teacher in a weekly video conference to receive feedback, ask questions, and reflect on your growth. A computer, reliable internet connection, a Gmail account, and a Skype account are required for this class.
