 | | It is our goal that the end result of the admissions process is a good match between a family and Archer. The Admissions Committee considers many factors when evaluating an applicant, including the application, transcript, standardized tests, teacher recommendations, and interview. These components as a whole help the Committee form a complete picture of each applicant -- her strengths, interests, and personal qualities. We seek families that will support and uphold the mission of the school and students who are best suited to make positive contributions to our community. |
STEP 1: Request Information If you are interested in applying for the 2011-2012 school year, please complete our Request Information Form. Once completed, you will be sent introductory material to help you learn more about Archer. You will be able to sign up for one of our Open Houses once you have officially requested information using this form.

STEP 2: Apply Online To apply for admission to Archer, you must submit an application online. The deadline is December 10, 2010. It is highly recommended that you submit your application early in order to secure an interview date of your choice; space is limited. The $115 application fee must accompany the submission. Families who are applying for flexible tuition can inquire about having a reduced application fee.

If you have questions about accessing the application form or remembering your username/password, please contact our Application software partner (Infosnap) toll free at 1-866-986-1601, menu option 2. You may also email to Infosnap at customerservice@infosnap.com. You will be able to save and return to the application. You will also be able to follow the progress of your application with our “Application Tracker.” Items marked with a green ball have been received and processed; items with a white ball are incomplete.

STEP 3: Schedule an Interview All applicants and their parents are required to meet with a member of the Admissions Committee. We will call you to schedule an interview once your application has been submitted and processed. During your visit, you will have the option to tour the School. Parents and students are interviewed separately. An Admissions Committee member will sit with the student and then with the parents; each conversation will take about twenty minutes. In total, the interview visit could take approximately an hour. |
|
STEP 4: Register for the ISEE All applicants are required to take the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE). ISEE testing dates fill up weeks in advance; you are encouraged to sign up as early as possible. While the test may be taken at any official location, Archer should be listed as a score recipient (our school code is 054240). For more information on the test, including registration, dates, and locations, visit www.iseetest.com. Archer serves as a test site on December 4, 2010 and January 29, 2011. Frequently Asked Questions about the ISEE can be found on the ERB's website by clicking here or in the FAQs section of the Admissions page. |

"At another school, our daughter didn't like the interview process at all. She said 'Mom, they just ask a million questions, and at Archer they ask about my friends, and about my life, and about things that actually matter.' So she was really happy."
