Archer Hosts 2019 Student STEM Symposium

On Saturday, May 18, Upper School girls from across Los Angeles were invited to present their independent research projects at the annual Student STEM Symposium.
The event began with a keynote address from Dr. Belinda Tan, a physician-scientist, educator, and co-founder of Science 37. Students then had an opportunity to share about their research projects in poster sessions and judges for the Archer RISE Awards evaluated the finalists. Following in-depth breakout sessions where select students were able to present their research in additional detail, the event ended with the announcement of the 2019 Archer RISE Award honorees.
