Archer Students Place First Overall at Raytheon Engineering Games

Evan B. ’22, Paola H. ’22, and Elle W. ’20 placed third in the math challenge and first overall at the Raytheon Engineering Games on Wednesday, February 20. Archer was among 36 schools invited to Raytheon’s Space and Airborne Systems facility in El Segundo for the competition.
Evan, Paola, and Elle teamed up with students from the California Academy of Math & Science to crack cyphers of increasing difficulty and participate in a math challenge. The students also met engineers and scientists and tried immersive virtual reality games.
