Archer Begins the School Year with the Theme of 'Story'

Head of School Elizabeth English has chosen Story as this year's theme to begin commemorating Archer's 25th anniversary. Ms. English introduced the theme on Monday, August 17, during an All School Celebration meeting held on Zoom.
She referenced a TED Talk from podcast host Jad Abumrad about The Third, where differing points of view or stories can resolve in new revelations. Associate Head of School Karen Pavliscak, Interim Middle School Director Nat Damon, and Upper School Director Meghan Tally shared what to expect during this year’s reimagined educational approach. "We're creating a sacred space for your daughter to talk openly about her hopes and dreams, to reflect on areas where she wants to grow and improve," Ms. English said. "We know that, especially in this remote world, it's super important that your daughter feels like someone is really listening to and seeing her."
