Kamryn B. ’18 and Morgan D. ’19 Named All-CIF in Softball

On Monday, June 25, the CIF Southern Section recognized Varsity Softball players Kamryn B. ’18 and Morgan D. ’19 in their 2018 All CIF selections. Kamryn and Morgan are among 20 players in the CIF-SS to receive this honor. Over 1700 players make up the 115-school Division 7 and Archer’s softball team finished in second place this season with a 20-5 overall record.
This marks the first time two softball players from Archer were selected in the same year. Kamryn, Archer’s all-time leading pitcher, was recognized as an All CIF honoree twice previously in 2015 and 2016. Morgan, the School’s all-time leading hitter, was recognized in 2017.

Together, Kamryn and Morgan have led Archer to three league titles in three seasons, each season being named Co-MVPs of the Liberty League. The 20 wins and runner-up finish in the CIF playoffs this past season were school records for the softball program.

With the addition of Kamryn and Morgan, 30 Archer student-athletes have received the All-CIF distinction in the School’s 23-year history.
