Tennis Begins New Season and Volleyball Rises to Second Place in Division Polls

This has been a productive week for our Athletics teams. Varsity Tennis played its first CIF league match of the season and Varsity Volleyball climbed to the second spot in CIF-SS Division 6 this week.
 
Archer’s Varsity Volleyball team climbed to the second spot in CIF-SS Division 6, according to this week’s CIS poll. Winning 3-0 against the Crossroads School, Archer Volleyball started this week with an 11-4 overall record and a 4-0 league record. Archer will take on upper division teams at the Chadwick Classic Tournament in Palos Verdes on Saturday, September 29. CIF-SS playoffs begin Thursday, October 18.

Varsity Tennis played its first CIF league match of the season. Our athletes won 11-7, with one singles player and a team of doubles winning all three of their matches against the Buckley School.
