Comedian and Actress Kate Berlant '05 Reflects on Time as Archer Student in Los Angeles Magazine

In an interview with L.A. Magazine about her family's relationship with art, Kate Berlant ’05 shared how her Archer education shaped her career.
In the article, Kate describes being 17 years old and performing stand-up for the first time as a student at Archer. Kate went on to study at NYU and is now a professional comedian. “I don’t know if I would’ve ever done stand-up if there had been guys around. Maybe not, who am I to say? But I kind of have a sneaking suspicion,” she told LA Magazine, reflecting on her time at Archer.
