Maia A. ’24 Brings ‘JOY’ to Archer as Southern California Journalist of the Year

Maia A. ’24 is the first Archer student journalist to participate in JEA's extremely competitive California Journalist of the Year contest, which is only open to seniors. Competing students created websites that showcased their substantial journalism portfolios. The sites were ranked by a panel of three judges. Maia placed third in the entire state of California, and first in Southern California.
