Volleyball Senior Selected for Division 7 Team

The California Interscholastic Federation Southern Section (CIF-SS) office announced the volleyball “All-CIF” sections for the 2016 season and senior Clara G. '17 from The Archer School for Girls was selected to the Division 7 team.

The California Interscholastic Federation Southern Section (CIF-SS) office announced the volleyball “All-CIF” sections for the 2016 season and senior Clara G. '17 from The Archer School for Girls was selected to the Division 7 team. Clara is one of 13 players selected in Division 7, which is comprised of 61 schools and some 800 players.

The 2016 Archer volleyball team compiled a 27-5 overall record, won third place in two tournaments and first place in another in addition to winning the Liberty League Championship. Clara was named “All-Tournament” in each of the tournaments and was awarded the Liberty League Most Valuable Player award. Clara follows last year's Archer volleyball standout Christian L. '15 in being named “All-CIF” and League MVP. Clara is the 24th Archer athlete to be selected “All-CIF” in all sports, the fifth in volleyball. She is the 16th Archer athlete to win League MVP in all sports, the third in volleyball.
