What new passion or interest did you discover while at Archer? Before attending Archer, I was extremely shy and hesitant to step outside my comfort zone. However, during my freshman year, I decided to join the Ambassador Leadership FLX block and became a member of the Athlete Leadership Council (ALC). Through these experiences, I discovered how much I enjoy being a leader and using my voice within a supportive community. My involvement in ALC this year opened the door to even more leadership opportunities, including joining the Ambassador Leadership Team, planning to start my own club next year, participating in a service organization outside of school, playing on the varsity softball team, and continuing my work with ALC.
Which Archer tradition or activity do you look forward to each school year? I always look forward to Moving Up Day because of our traditions. These include the Maypole dance, the courtyard gathering with the entire school, our final mentorship and class meetings, and the teacher wave. I also especially enjoy Senior Moving Up Day because it is so meaningful to watch the seniors move on to the next chapter of their lives. My sister graduated this year, so seeing her on stage with all her friends and sharing that emotional moment, with both of us in tears and smiling so brightly, made this year’s ceremony even more meaningful for me.
Which three words would you use to describe Archer? Empowering, supportive, and nurturing.
