Why did you apply to become an Archer ambassador? I applied to become an ambassador because when I first came to Archer, my ALT buddy was the first person I officially met. We clicked right away, and getting to know her helped me feel comfortable and excited to be part of the community. Knowing that she was in the middle school play and musical also made it easier for me to audition because I knew I would already have a friend in the cast. Throughout the year, we grew closer and that gave me the confidence to get to know the other older girls in her grade as well. I wanted to be an Archer ambassador because I hope to make a new student feel as welcomed and supported as she made me feel.
Where is your favorite spot on campus and why? I love the library! Our librarian is so caring and the library is such a calm, organized, and quiet place with lots of interesting books. It also has little cubbies off to the side where you can do your work and I always feel at peace when I’m there.
Which Archer tradition or activity do you look forward to each school year? My favorite Archer tradition is definitely Night of Dance. I've never performed in it, but it is so beautiful and magical to watch. I love seeing all the different grade levels come together and all the hard work they put into the performance.
