Why did you apply to become an Archer ambassador? I applied to be an ambassador because the Ambassador Leadership Team (ALT) helped me to make new connections. As a 6th grader last year, I really looked up to my ALT buddy, and I wanted to make friends with girls in other grades. I want all incoming 6th graders to feel like they have someone older they can trust and go to. My ALT buddy made a big difference for me last year, and I would love to do the same for someone else.
What new passion or interest did you discover while at Archer? I discovered my love for orchestra, which was something I had done before, but never this seriously! Archer's Middle School Orchestra has given me a passion for my instrument, and now I practice almost daily. The program has really opened my eyes to the fact that I can become great at playing my instrument and that orchestra can be fun!
Which academic class/subject are you most excited about? I really love math! I am always excited to go to class because I love working with numbers and solving problems individually or in groups. I enjoy all the activities we do, and I especially like math projects that relate to the real-world.
