Humans of Archer

Mia R. '23, Middle School President

“I started at Archer two years ago, in 6th grade. I chose Archer because the very first time I toured, I could simply see myself here. I knew instantly that Archer was the kind of place that brings out sides of young women they never knew they had. No two days here are ever quite the same, and I look forward to each one. I particularly love the mornings, when everyone is greeting one another before classes. I love the celebration of differences at Archer as well; every day I find Archer girls sharing and embracing their differences, and I think that is one of the things I appreciate most. I feel I have been able to accept parts of myself that I could not in the past.”
Before Archer, I had trouble with perseverance and continuing on when frustration took over. The acceptance and embrace of struggle here have taught me to use challenges to benefit my learning and find areas I can grow.
