What new passion or interest did you discover while at Archer? I have discovered a passion for journalism here at Archer. While I never thought I would pursue it in high school, I chose it as my elective in ninth grade last year. In just one year of writing for The Oracle, Archer’s online newspaper, I have found that it is something I am truly interested in and want to continue pursuing throughout Upper School. I have learned about the First Amendment, press freedom, photojournalism, journalistic writing, interviewing, and more. There is still so much for me to learn, and I am excited to continue growing as a multimedia reporter in my second year.
Which academic class/subject are you most excited about? This year, I’m taking French 3 Accelerated, and I’ve been looking forward to the opportunity to study French more rigorously at Archer. I find the language fascinating, and there's still so much I don’t know, so I’m excited to keep learning and growing.
Which three words would you use to describe Archer? Ambitious, compassionate, and welcoming.
