Which academic class/subject are you most excited about? An academic area I am most passionate and excited about is STEM. I have always been drawn to this field because of the curiosity that comes with it and its endless possibilities to be creative. This next school year, I plan to rejoin the robotics teams, participate in STEM-based electives and join the InvenTeam.

What new passion or interest did you discover while at Archer? A passion I’ve further discovered at Archer is my love for art. I’ve always had more of a left-brained personality, as I tend to be analytical and enjoy working with numbers. However, through Archer’s art electives, I was able to reconnect with the creative, right-brained side of myself. Although I already knew I had an interest in art, my love for it has grown through classes like Pattern Design in Fashion and Architecture as well as the Ceramics elective.

Which Archer tradition or activity do you look forward to each school year? My favorite Archer tradition that I look forward to every school year is Color Wars. In this activity, each grade competes against the others for spirit points in challenges such as door decorating, painting, tug of war, relay races, and more. Last year, my class came in third place in the whole school for spirit.
