Athletics Program
Archer Athletics is committed to empowering girls through sport. Our student-athletes embrace competition as a pathway to becoming confident, resilient leaders. Through athletics, students learn to lead, collaborate as teammates, and develop the skills necessary to be successful in their sports, academics, and community.
Aligned with the school’s mission, Archer Athletics is grounded in the values of teamwork, leadership, integrity, and respect. With 11 sports and 22 teams across our Middle School and Upper School programs, every student has the opportunity to participate. Archer’s Middle School teams compete in the Pacific Basin League (PBL), and Upper School is a member of the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF), Southern Section and competes in the Gold Coast League (GCL). Archer’s diverse athletic offerings encourage students to explore new sports, experience team competition in a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment, and cultivate a lifelong love of sport.
Beyond team sport participation, Archer offers a sport-specific Strength & Conditioning program to support students’ individual athletics development. The Athlete Leadership Council (ALC) further empowers student-athletes by developing leadership, communication, and collaboration skills that extend beyond sport.
Overall, Archer’s Athletic program aims to consistently refine, innovate, and cultivate a space where athletes feel supported and empowered to be their very best. Upon graduation, a majority of Archer athletes continue their athletics experience at the individual, club, or collegiate level.
Regardless of the level of continued sports participation, we provide the support and resources for student-athletes to realize their true potential.
