Lauren Lyons '01

A graduate of Princeton, with a BSE in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, and Harvard University, with a Masters in Public Policy, Lauren Lyons is a Mission Integration and Systems Certification Engineer at SpaceX, where she works on the certification for the Dragon 2 spacecraft that will take NASA Crew to the International Space Station. When she is not launching rockets, Lauren is a leadership instructor, dating start-up founder, and non-fiction writer who also gives talks about the power of STEM education, and in her words, “does her little part to help make the world more empathetic, joyful, and just.”
