The Archer Middle School Purple Team defeats St Matthews!

Jennifer Berman
The Archer Middle School Purple team (playing on 3 courts at a time) came from behind to win at 3rd singles, and then sweep the doubles to defeat St Matthews 4-2.  It was the first match that St. Matthews played, and they had a water main break prior to the match so their kids didn't even have school that day.  They came out well rested, but unable to overcome the strong play of Archer.
