Archer Varsity Tennis Falls to a Deep Santa Monica Team

Keith Coleman
Archer Varsity Tennis faced a strong Santa Monica team on Tuesday September 26, 2017 and came away with a tough loss 1 – 17. SaMo #1 Singles player used a spinning kick-serve to the backhand, and the high bounce was hard to handle. The lone win came from Freshman Lexie Ben-Meir who outlasted the SaMo #2 Singles player. Archer Doubles teams of Olivia Rosen/Maiya South and Elyse Pollack/Izzy Simanowitz fought hard losing two matches each 3 – 6. Chloe Richards continued her positive, patient recovery from injured reserve in a one set 3 -6 match loss. With experience and resolve, confident players can adjust their game: Archer Varsity Tennis journeys forward in preparation and excellence.
