Karen G. '23 Named Milken Scholar

Recent graduate Karen G. '23 was named a Milken Scholar. After a rigorous nomination, application, and interview process, Karen was among only 10 students in all of Los Angeles County to receive this scholarship and distinction.
The Milken Scholars is a joint initiative of the Milken Institute and the Milken Family Foundation that selects scholarship recipients from Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., and New York City based on "academic performance, community service, leadership, and their ability to persevere in the face of personal challenges."

This month, Karen will attend a summit with her fellow Milken Scholars, before heading off to Columbia University in the fall.
