2023 Music Video Strikes Gold at Brilliance Awards

Archer’s 2023 Raise Your Paddle video won first place gold in the Fundraising Video Outsourced category of Inspired School Marketers’ Brilliance Awards. The video featured an array of students on Archer’s campus set to a version of Ingrid Michaelson’s “Pretty” arranged by Piper Rutman ’23, performed by the Unaccompanied Minors, and choreographed by Georgia Ehrlich ’23 and performed by Archer dancers. Choral Director Hannah O’Connor and Middle School Director Reed Farley ideated and executed the video, with assistance from the Advancement and Communications Departments.
The judges commented, “An exquisitely crafted video captivates viewers by showcasing the genuine talents of its students. The compilation includes an impressive array of videos, success snapshots, and informative facts highlighting the institution's noteworthy achievements. It's evident that empowered young women are thriving at this remarkable school.”

Another judge wrote, “Outstanding! Love the music, the visuals, it's super creative and powerful. Terrific alum spotlights at the end and strong call to action. Fight like a girl!”
