Archer Wins again 11-7 against Windward

Jennifer Berman
Well the JV/Varsity combo team won again, this time against Windward 11-7.  It truly was a team effort, as we had a last minute cancellation so Lola ended up playing and winning with (3) different partners!  I would like to thank Chloe Richards, Zoe and Nina for playing in (4) matches today.  I know Nina was exhausted.  She first played and won at line 2 with Lola 6-3.  She then teamed with Leah and came from behind to win 7-5.  Her next match was with Leah again against the #1 team, and they lost a close one in a tiebreaker 7-6.  Then she was back on the court again.

The same scenario holds true for Chloe and Zoe who also played in (4) matches, although they're older and a bit more skilled so their matches were not as close.

Lola, fresh on the court from an injury, continues to win all of her matches.

In fact everyone won at least 1 match today, and Coach Lennon, who came to cheer on the girls, got to see at least 4 of the 11 victories.
